Corporations have name endings that must be used in the name of the corporation. Generally, these are used to distinguish a corporation from an unincorporated entity. Listed below are some of the more common name endings used in Delaware. If you wish to use a name ending not shown below, we will contact the Division of Corporations to inquire about its permitted use.   • Abbreviation of the above, with or without punctuation.
  • The word Bank is restricted in its use.
