In general, Chesspin Corporation has a NO REFUNDS policy. This, simply put, is a result of the nature of the work we do. Largely, our business is centered on filing documents with the various Secretary of State offices around the country, most of which have no refunds policies.
CANCELLATION OF ORDERS BY THE CLIENT
If a client cancels an order before it is submitted to a government agency, you may be entitled to receive some or all of your money back or credited towards a future purchase. However, there may be limitations on how much you will receive back depending on if any work was started or completed before you cancelled and or payment processing fees (such as credit card fees).
APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION
In general, any appointments cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the appointment may be refunded minus payment processing fees. However, you should read the attached refund policy prior to booking as some appointments may have a smaller cancellation window. For example, weekend appointments may have a policy requiring cancellation before 3 PM New York City time on the Friday before, whereas others may have a 72-hour window.
STATE REJECTS YOUR FILING
If a state rejects your filing, refunds depend on the policies of the state in question. For example, some states will reject an order and not keep the money whereas others keep all the money even if rejected. Many states offer a correction period that must be strictly adhered to. Ultimately, you are responsible for all state fees and should assume you cannot receive any refunds once a filing or order is placed (again, “Once it’s submitted, you are committed.”). We may also retain any portion of the fee for other services completed regardless of the rejection.
REGISTERED AGENT SERVICE
Registered agent service fees may be refunded minus payment processing fees if either the state rejects the related filing or you cancel prior to submission. However, if you transfer your service to another agent (including yourself) before your term is up, you do NOT receive any refund for service that was activated.
PAYMENT PROCESSING FEES
Payment processing fees, such as credit card fees, should be considered non-refundable except when prohibited by law.
CHARGEBACKS
If you execute a chargeback, we may elect to send the matter for collections and or court. We would attempt to collect all money owed plus any related collections costs, court courts, and attorney’s fees.
